Richard M.
Winegarner, Sage Concepts, Inc.
Mr. Winegarner
has over twenty-five years of industrial experience ranging
from market research and business development to aerospace
and optics. His educational experience includes an
undergraduate degree in engineering and his graduate studies
have resulted in masters degrees in both physics and
business administration (MBA).
Industrial Experience
His industrial experience includes key positions in
aerospace, opto-electronics, and energy. He played key rolls
in the development of optical reconnaissance equipment for
state-of-the-art satellites and aircraft. He spent five (5)
years as a corporate business manager for special projects
at one of the world's largest thin film companies.
Consulting Experience
He then contributed to the development and growth of one of
the bay area's leading consulting companies. Having achieved
the position of vice president, Mr. Winegarner departed to
become the founding president of Sage Concepts and has
managed the company for the past sixteen years.
Robert
O. Johnson, SolarInsights, LLC
Mr. Johnson has
over 30 years of industry experience in energy, including
systems operations and test, project engineering, marketing
and sales management, and new technology market development.
His educational experience includes an undergraduate degree
in engineering and a masters degree in business
administration (MBA).
Industrial Experience
Industrial experience includes operational responsibilities
in steam turbine systems for marine and utility applications
(U.S. Navy and General Electric Co.), development of market
applications in ultra high vacuum and mass spectrometer gas
analysis of industrial processes (High Voltage Engineering),
project engineering for nuclear fuel plate assemblies and
control drive mechanisms (Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory),
and in 1974 began development of early market applications
in terrestrial photovoltaics (SES Inc., then a Business Unit
of Shell Oil Co., U.S.).
Consulting Experience
After joining Strategies Unlimited in January 1982, Mr.
Johnson became Manager of the Photovoltaic Industry
Information Service, organizing and editing information on
the industry’s developing markets and technologies. He has
supervised and authored the publication of over 30 reports
on photovoltaic industry markets, technology, applications,
and competitive infrastructure. He also was the Editor of
the Solar Flare®, a newsletter for the photovoltaic
industry. In April 2003, he formed SolarInsights, LLC, which
continues to provide primary market research, market
development, technology assessment, and business planning
services to leaders in the photovoltaic industry. |
